Car Rental Company Avis Budget Group Takes 21K SF in the Bronx

As reported by Commercial Observer, Pinnacle Realty is proud to announce its successful representation of the landlord in a major lease transaction that brings global car rental leader Avis Budget Group to a high-visibility site in the Bronx’s Eastchester neighborhood.

Pinnacle’s Ariel Castellanos and Federico Mazzeo brokered the 20-year lease on behalf of the property owner, 4077 Boston Road LLC, an entity of Gadi Ben-Hamo’s G&O Management. The deal secures a long-term commitment from Avis Budget Group for 21,400 square feet of building space and an additional 16,000-square-foot parking lot at 4075–4077 Boston Road. The location, formerly home to a local car dealership, sits prominently at the corner of Boston Road and Provost Avenue. Asking rent ranged between $450,000 and $500,000 per year.

Avis Budget Group, which operates the Avis, Budget, and Zipcar brands, will use the site for car and truck rentals, further expanding its footprint across New York City. The Eastchester location joins several existing outlets in Manhattan and Brooklyn, supporting the company’s wide-reaching service network that spans more than 10,000 locations in 180 countries.

Tenant representation was handled by Steve Lorenzo and Garry Steinberg of Lee & Associates NYC.
